HOLDER, Janet Kay, age 73, of Washington Twp, passed away peacefully at home on May 25, 2017, with her beloved dog Pippa by her side. She was born on August 19, 1943 in Rolla, Missouri to Hubert and Jessie (Geers) Perkins. Janet graduated from Rolla High School, attended Missouri State University, and graduated with a Master's degree in Education from Wright State University. She retired as a teacher from West Carrollton City Schools after 30 dedicated years, and was a successful Realtor with Irongate Realty. Janet loved history, colonial architecture and interior design, and was actively involved in the Centerville Historical Society. She was known for her energy, love and care for others, and always put others' needs before her own. She is preceded in death by her parents. Janet is survived by her only son, Michael Holder of Cincinnati. The family will greet friends from 11am-1pm on Tuesday, June 6, 2017 at Routsong Funeral Home, 81 N. Main St., Centerville, Ohio, with a service to follow at 1pm at the funeral home. In memory of Janet, donations may be made to the Karen Wellington Foundation For Living With Breast Cancer, PO Box 6464 Cincinnati, OH 45201.
